Is there Voiced Nornal Dialog? - Guild Wars Forums

Hello all and I am just joining here. I am starting out and wondered if the on screen dialog is supposed to be voiced or not? I saw a dialog sound option in the sound set ups but my game is only showing text balloon dialog, and i wondered if i had forgotten or did not know how to set the settings correctly? i would appreciate any info on this. I do have a up to date Sound Card, Audigy 2ZS but i may need new dirvers .....not sure.

uhm i think certain npcs give actual sound dialog but i might be wrong X.X i have my sound turned on only in PvP

Pretty much all voice dialogue can only be heard during cutscenes. Rest is just text.

Voice dialog is only present during cutscenes in PvE. Normal chat does not come with voices.

I concer, if you talk to many EotN NPCs, they will have a short phrase to say. ie, when you talk to norn bounty, the person will say "You need something" or other things along those lines.

As a note those bounty NPC's give friendlier greeting depending on your rank

The NPC's in GW:EN talk too. Not a dialog but they do talk to you. The asura are rude.

I've played with sound off since before EoTN. So I guess I'm a little outdated in that respect. Thanks for the corrections.
